Work Options (pre-apprenticeship)

Work Options provides a free culinary job training program for all gender identities. They offer students the opportunity to learn from professional chefs as well as life skills development, case management and job readiness activities, including mock interviewing and job placement. Their program helps people gain the skills necessary to build confidence, maintain employment, and the opportunity to earn up to four certificates, including the nationally recognized American Culinary Federation Prep Cook Certificate. Students also earn cash incentives each week for modeling employable behaviors. Work Options' Mobile Culinary Classroom (MCC) is a 23-day culinary job training specifically designed for persons impacted by the criminal justice system. The Work Options Training Center's new temporary location is located on the Mosaic Community Campus (formerly Johnson & Wales) at 1895 Quebec St. Denver, CO. Work Options' MCC is located at Second Chance Center and Adams County Human Services. Please contact Kristi Hornick at 970-290-1572 or kristi@workoptions.org to learn more or to register.
