The Reentry Initiative (TRI)
The Reentry Initiative (TRI) provides pre-release training and transitional planning inside Denver Women’s Correctional Facility. For women who complete TRI’s program, TRI provides transportation the day of release, help getting essentials the first 72 hours, and help connecting to reentry resources such as housing and employment. TRI provides housing to women graduating from their pre-release program at their 3-bedroom apartment in Longmont. TRI is also a recipient of the WAGEES Grant, which funds TRI’s Longmont Welcome Back Center located at 402 Kimbark on the second floor of Central Longmont Presbyterian Church. At this center, TRI serves both men and women referred by Longmont Parole. Call the number listed to make an appointment. Referrals may be made to Info@reentryinitiative.org.
