Telehealth and Nurselines

Telehealth, also called telemedicine, is when you use your phone or computer to talk to a doctor or nurse. Telehealth is covered by all insurance plans in Colorado, including Medicaid. Visits cost the same as in-person visits for Medicaid and Medicare patients. If you don't have health insurance or a doctor, there are several online telehealth companies that will see you for a fee. Click on the website link below to learn about telehealth and nurselines. Nurselines provide advice from a nurse, and some are free. The video from Johns Hopkins Medicine shows how telehealth works.
