Project Avary is a nonprofit that provides support for kids with an incarcerated parent. The program, which has a six-week commitment, is open to kids ages 8 to 18, and it's free. Small groups meet up together online, along with counselors who all have lived experience with parental incarceration. The meetings are a unique opportunity of connecting with other kids with the same experience of having a parent currently or formerly in prison. Groups are one hour long and held after school hours.
