Murphy Center is the hub of services for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in Larimer Country. The Center has many services under one roof and provides many different services including morning meals, take-away meals, food boxes, bike repair and bike trailers, doctors, mail, lockers, showers, personal hygiene items, laundry, computers and wifi, telephones, career closet for job seekers, health connections and much more. It is the hub of services for people who face homelessness or housing instability—one location in which 20 organizations offer more than 40 services to nearly 3,000 people each year. It provides core human services, such as year-round morning shelter. They also have a reentry program and a housing program for those who are on parole. It is a key source of actionable data for the region and essential to the community’s plans to make homelessness rare, short-lived and non-recurring.
