The Mindfulness Peace Project (MPP) offers several programs integrating mindfulness and meditation to people in very difficult situations. Its mission is to cultivate the fundamental sanity and dignity in individuals. MPP offers the Ratna Peace Initiative for incarcerated men and women looking for resources, study materials, and instruction in Buddhism and meditation; it has a secular mindfulness program for military veterans called Veterans Peace of Mind as well as a secular mindfulness course for inmates in solitary confinement.
