Colorado Juvenile Defender Center

Colorado Juvenile Defender Center (CJDC) is a nonprofit organization that works on juvenile defense and advocates for justice for all children and youth in Colorado. CJDC works to ensure access to counsel and quality representation for juveniles charged with crimes. They also work to reduce the collateral consequences of a juvenile adjudication, reduce over-incarceration of children in juvenile facilities and adult prisons, end the school-to-prison pipeline, and improve conditions of confinement for juveniles. If you need help with expungement of a juvenile adjudication, de-registration/removal from the Colorado Sex Offender Registry, or representation with an expulsion and special education proceeding, contact the CJDC. You do not have to be under the age of 18 to qualify for their help if your case was in juvenile court. Click on their website to learn more about their legal services.
