Your county's human services office is THE place to start if you're looking for help. This is where you'll get help signing up for food assistance, Medicaid, financial assistance with rent and energy bills, and much more. Start by looking at a human services' website and look through the programs they provide. You may find Veterans Services, a Workforce Center, the Child Support Services office, financial programs such as Aid to the Needy/Disabled and the Old Age Pension, and much more. Some offices provide free classes, legal clinics, and community resource navigators! Be sure to check out a website for current contact times and how they are operating under Covid-19 circumstances. Many are working by appointment only. You can also use the Colorado PEAK link in this section to sign up for assistance in the county where you live.
