House of Rahab–The Don’t Look Back Center

The Don't Look Back Center's House of Rahab is a shared living program where women and transwomen may find a safe haven together. The house provides life skills, cooking, HIV education/prevention, art therapy, naloxone classes, and a 12 step program. It costs $700 per month with a $50 administrative fee. The Don't Look Back Center also provides a number of different programs for disadvantaged women, including therapy for addiction and trauma, care management for client wellness and autonomy, a transgender outreach program T.O.P. specifically for transwomen, CCAR certified recovery coaches, acu-detox treatments, and DUI education and therapy. Women and transwomen who've been in the justice system as well as self referrals are very welcome. Call to find out more about any of their services and the House of Rahab. The Center is located in Building 3, Suite 305.

The Empowerment Program

The Empowerment Program provides education, employment assistance, health, housing referrals, and support services for women who are in disadvantaged positions due to incarceration, poverty, homelessness, HIV/AIDS infection, and/or involvement in the criminal justice system. Call to make an appointment for their orientation which is held every Wednesday at 1:30pm. All services are free. LGBTQ friendly. Safety, support, trauma-informed help, relapse prevention, peer educators: they're all at Empowerment. EP is also a WAGEES grant provider of re-entry services for women coming out of prison.
