If you were born in Colorado, you can order a certified copy of your birth certificate by phone, mail, or through a local Vital Records Office. You can get your birth certificate the same day if you go to a Vital Records Office. Phone and online orders take 3-5 days. Mail orders take 30 days. The main office is in Denver, but other offices are located throughout Colorado. Click on the website and scroll down to Other Locations Near You for a list of locations. If you need help getting your birth certificate, check in the Help Getting Your ID section and with Re-entry Help organizations listed on remerg.com. The cost for a certified copy is $20.
