Axis also has a 24/7 crisis care hotline you can call after work hours at 970.247.5245 for a mental health or substance use crisis situation. You will be quickly connected to local services and a team will respond immediately. Your crisis may be resolved through this phone call, or they may ask to meet with you. Besides the community health centers listed in this section on remerg.com, Colorado also has clinics that are called Safety Net Clinics and Rural Health Clinics. These clinics are also an option for health care. Click on the website link to Colorado Health Institute and scroll down the page until you see a map. This map is color coded for all health care in Colorado. Rural health centers are located where you see a blue dot. Safety net clinics are located where you see a purple dot. You'll also see where community health centers are located (turquoise dot), as well as other health services. This is a good way to visualize the kinds of care available in Colorado and where they're located. We'll be adding more information as soon as it's available.

If you need immediate help and it’s not a life-threatening emergency, Denver Health’s Federico F. Pena Southwest Family Health Center and Urgent Care and Denver Health Adult Urgent Care Center provide urgent care for adults and children. You may come in without an appointment. You can call for same day appointments when the phones are answered starting at 7:45am M-Sat. No appointment is necessary for an acute illness.

New patients to Stout Street Health Center are asked to come in person on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday between 7:00 am and 11:00 am, and on Wednesday at 10:30 am.
